Mindful of the narrative capacity of objects, Sicilian architect Mario Trimarchi designed the Ossidiana espresso coffee maker. A project that, like the author's others, stems from memories and fragments of images told through the form of an object.

The Ossidiana coffee maker, designed by Mario Trimarchi, is made of polished aluminum: it features a series of facets that enhance its ergonomics, making it consistent with the shape of the hand and ensuring an easy grip during opening and closing operations. The small knob, made of aluminum coated with thermoplastic resin to prevent burns, almost disappears, allowing the coffee maker's body to retain all its visual strength. Ossidiana encapsulates the memory of the facets of traditional moka pots and those of the volcanic stone of the same name, bringing all the power of a good espresso into the kitchen.
