The “Joy” round tray, designed by Claudia Raimondo, is created using a refined contemporary moulding technique where the steel sheet becomes both form and decoration. The faceting itself defines the shape of the objects: wide and open, with soft edges, their play of light reflections evoke the memory of handmade objects in precious metals. The texture evokes the fields of the digital world and reinterprets steel, playing on the indeterminacy of the design that makes the object similar to something fluid and natural, even if crystallised in a solid material.
